Bogotá Experimental Film Festival, 2026

XYZ (2026) was presented at the 12th edition of the Bogotá Experimental Film Festival - CineAutopsia, held from 21 to 29 August 2026 in Bogotá, Colombia. The film was selected for the Panorama Europe and North America programme, with a screening on 23 August at the Cinemateca de Bogotá.

Established as a platform for experimental and avant-garde cinema in Colombia, CineAutopsia promotes artistic practices that challenge conventional cinematic forms through narrative, technical and conceptual experimentation. Its programme brings together international filmmakers working across different approaches to moving images, fostering dialogue around alternative forms of cinematic expression.

Presented alongside eight other international short films, XYZ formed part of a programme exploring perception, memory, identity and the possibilities of experimental moving-image practices. The screening marked another international presentation of the film within a festival dedicated to the exploration of cinema beyond conventional narrative structures.
